The College of Faith and Inquiry
Going into writing this college research paper I was not all of the excited, because it's a research paper about college and as much as I am wanting to get out of high school, I am not ready for college. I picked Valparaiso University as my college research essay because not only had I been to Valparaiso before, I honestly just love Valparaiso. So in my paper I decided to talk about all aspects of the university, to further show why everyone should love Valparaiso University as much I do. I talked about their Christ College which is open to any Christian involved in their church to help nurture their faith. That point could be appealing to any Christian who is looking to stay involved with the church. Slowly as I continued to write this paper I became very fond of my topic and of the paper itself. After I finished this assignment I realized that Valparaiso is most definitely one of my top choices for college.
Final Draft
This final draft took me a long time to revise. I added a lot of commentary where needed and fixed my excessive use of the word "many". I had many grammatical errors which corrected. Lastly I fixed the bad spacing at the end.

Second Draft
This second draft I fixed a few sentences that had been worded weirdly, and I fixed a few grammatical errors. There were a few times where instead of spelling out numbers under 100 I kept them as numbers like "25". I also fixed a few punctuation errors but overall I did not make very many corrections to this draft. I really should have corrected it more for I still had many mistakes.

Rough Draft/ Peer Review
Starting this paper was difficult because I had no idea how to actually start it. I had my points that I was going to talk about but I didn't have any idea as to how to put them into a few sentences. So I skipped writing my introduction and I started writing the body paragraphs instead. First I knew that I would need reliable information so a lot of my information came directly from websites affiliated with Valparaiso University. My first point was about the diverseness of the religions and theology classes that Valparaiso University offers. I used information from Mrs. Cindy Burreson, who was my interviewee, in this paragraph about how well the classes were taught. My second point was about the English and Creative Writing Department, in this point I used the Valparaiso University website as my main source. I also used statistics from a brochure that I received when I went to the Valparaiso University college visit. My third and final point was about the extracurricular activities, and Mrs. Burreson told me when I asked her about the sporting events the the basketball games were always a blast to go to. I then concluded my essay, but I still didn't have an introduction. I ended up writing a summary of my paper as my intro.
